20 Years of Hunter Bell
As Hunter Bell marks 20 years, the brand reflects a journey rooted in a love for curated boutiques, contemporary design, and femininity. What began in 2006 as an eight-piece collection built to create a “full world” quickly found its first yes—“I love it. I’ll take it all”—and grew through years defined by grit, risk, and resilience. From the turning point of Fashion Star to motherhood, reinvention, and a creative rebirth in Houston, the brand has continued to evolve while staying true to its core. Today, Hunter Bell moves forward with intention, believing that every collection must carry the blood, sweat, and tears that have shaped the last two decades.

Eight pieces and a big decision
The First Collection
Hunter Bell began in 2006 with a clear vision and an intimate first collection of just eight pieces. “My first collection was eight pieces. I knew I wanted to be a collection designer. I wanted a sweater, a coat, a jacket. I wanted outfits,” recalls Hunter. From the very start, the focus was on creating complete looks—thoughtfully designed pieces that worked together and made women feel confident, polished, and effortlessly put together.

Validation
Selling her pieces to Saks marked a defining milestone in Hunter Bell’s journey. “Seeing my name on the wall at Saks was a pinch-me moment,” she recalls—a tangible affirmation of years of hard work and creative vision. “I needed that moment to know I could keep going,” Hunter says. It was a turning point that reinforced her belief in the brand.
